Calcium for strong bones and teeth, delivered by live probiotics.

An essential mineral needed to build strong bones and teeth while supporting muscle and nerve function.

What it is

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in your body. It is best known for keeping your bones and teeth strong, but it also plays a key role in muscle movement and nerve signals. Formulations combine gentle calcium with friendly bacteria so your gut absorbs it easily without stomach discomfort.

Also known as: Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Citrate, Calcium Citrate Malate

Key benefits

  • Builds and maintains dense, strong bones and teeth.
  • Supports normal muscle contractions, so your heart and muscles work smoothly.
  • Helps nerve cells send signals throughout your body, which supports daily movement.
  • Assists normal blood clotting, so cuts stop bleeding naturally.

Amplified by probiotics

Healthy gut bacteria help your body absorb calcium more effectively. Friendly strains ferment dietary fibres into organic acids, which lower gut acidity and make calcium easier to dissolve. Live bacteria also help clear away compounds that block mineral uptake, allowing more calcium to enter your bloodstream.

Typical dose

500–1000 mg/day

The evidence

Evidence: strong

Human studies confirm that calcium supports bone density, while taking it with probiotics helps your body absorb higher levels of the mineral (Whisner et al. 2016, Br J Nutr; McCabe et al. 2015, J Cell Physiol; Cormick et al. 2019, Nutrients).

Safety & who should check first

Safe within recommended doses (up to 2,500 mg per day). Very high doses may cause mild constipation. Take calcium at least two hours apart from thyroid medication or certain antibiotics, and check with a doctor if you take prescription medicine.
